On a more serious note, Richard's qualification as a Bordeaux University trained winemaker and taster led him to give the wine making lectures for several years for the wine trade body, the WSET. In 1980 Richard set up 'Better Tasting Ltd' to provide educational tastings for “very interested amateurs” and wine trade professionals.

A lot of grapes have been crushed since then …… and even though we can bore for England on the subtly differences between German and Italian rieslings, this is only suitable for serious wine enthusiasts.

So be warned, ... this is quite different from the other tastings. Cross this threshold at your peril !!
